You can get your visa for Turkey before you arrive here. Any Turkish Consulate can provide it for you.
But it is not a good idea if you don’t have to!

So buying your visa at the airport or at the border is the best option.

You can apply any Turkish Consulate or a consular section at the Turkish Embassy. You must book an appointment before you go to the consulate.

Travel agencies can also make visa applications.
How Long Does It Take?
It depends on nationality of applicant and type of visa.
Some applications may be sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ankara, the capital city of Turkey.
In that case it will take much longer (minimum six to eight weeks).
